Technique book, it's a great starter, but i'd skip the first 15 pages since we all know what a harmonica is, right?I picked up this book with a songbook since I wasn't expecting there to be much aside from exercises in this book.This book for me offered, a new take on note bending, illustrations on harp holding, and a small study on harmonica brands I might be picking up in the future.
I ordered this book to go with the harmonica I gave to my 11-year-old grandson for Christmas. He has used the book to help himself learn to play the harmonica with great success! He's doing very well!
The book didn't help me much but I guess it's because my tongue is not trained to work separately while I'm blowing into the harmonic. I don't play well but my dog sings while I play. It's cute. I'm glad I bought a harmonic.
