It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it did fill in a lot of blanks that were missing in the other books. I gave it a 4 because some of the stories should have explained the character much better or less but not everyone has read his books so it's understood . Don't get me wrong johnathan maberry is a very talented writer and could out write me in a heart beat but I feel he wasn't explaining things enough. I love his books and will continue to read them I amean looking forward to what happens to Benny and Chong just everyone. I still very much enjoyed reading the book. But not everyone reads graphic novels so I will not be continuing if they are graphic novels. But he has other books that tie into this story I'd lover to know more about dark of night. I know it's tied in I just can't wait for his next masterpiece of both books

This book is so exciting. There are quite a few new and interesting characters in this one. The reapers seem to be an even bigger danger than in previous installments of the series. More fighters seem to be emerging from different places too. Ican't wait for the next book to come out. This story is getting super intense.

I have read most of Jonathan Maberry books and have yet to discover one I did not like. If you read them carefully you will see characters in one series cross over to another series. I enjoy that tremendously.

after this series we bought as many of his books as we could! Amazing and articulate! amazing read!

If your a zombie lover this series is for you, i am so impressed by Jonathan Mayberry. This is a must have!

11 yr old son loves Jonathan Maberry's books as did his brother before him. Highly recommended.

Another awesome book to the series. Hard to put down.

Overall, I liked it. I really never cared for Nix's journal, and that didn't change here. Always like the Joe pieces.
