The only thing I didn't like about this book when first using it is that it doesn't tell you how many servings each recipe is designed for. I make smoothies primarily just for myself and occasionally for my kids. When it says "half a pineapple" for a smoothie that seemed like a lot for one person but I wasn't sure if that was for one serving or more. It would help if it showed the measurements in cups, tbsp, etc, or by letting the user know how many servings each recipe is designed for. I also think the book could've been a bit smaller and lighter if the recipes were doubled up on each page. There still would've been enough room for a picture of each drink next to the recipes or on the adjoining pages. Because the book is so thick and heavy it is a little cumbersome to use at times. Or making it a spiral-bound book would've been a good idea as well. I do have to say though, that I really appreciate the great quality of paper and materials this book was put together with. I can see that it will stand up to some good use for some time. The book has great vibrant pictures and information for each drink. Suggestions for ailments are in the reference part of the book and is useful as well. There is alot of juices for fruit juicing and veggie juicing separated into it's sections and each is a very good amount. The sections of smoothies are really nice as well. I like that it included some other fun drinks you can make as well that you might not think about when it comes to juicing. I'm happy with my purchase of this book overall.

Better than the Juice Bible IMHO as far as accessability. Gives you details on which veggies do what pretty simply and how to pick a good item at the produce section. There are tons of recipes easily mapped out by vegetable. there are also teas and spritzers as well. You will not be disappointed. I like the fact that the Index is by vegetable/fruit not recipe so its really easy to look up different ones with what you have handy.

I researched all the different books on juicing and I am so happy I chose the perfect juicing book. Not only does it have over 400 healthy recipes for juice, but also for smoothies and quenchers. The nutrients of each juice are listed along with a five-star rating system for Energy, Detox, Immunity, Digestion, and Skin. The last chapters contain a weekly diet juice plan to get you started, a nutrient chart and juices for specific ailments. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend this awesome book! *****Five Stars

There is no other book on the market like this book!!! It is huge, colorful and easy to follow. I make some of them exactly like they have it written, but sometimes I modify the flavor to my liking... this book is great for learning fruit and veg combinations... also it gives you info on what the juice is good for like; energy, immune system, sleep, inflammation... I highly recommend this book. Everyone that loves to juice should have this book.

This book is awesome for the casual juice and smoothie maker. The book features over 400 drink recipes usually accompanied by a high resolution picture of the finished product. The recipes are great but what I found invaluable is how well certain ingredients go together that I would never had guessed without the guidance of the book. This not only led me to try new flavors but create several new recipes of my own that I keep in the back of the book using post it notes.The one flaw I see with this book is that some of the recipes are a little redundant. Instead of adding in the notes section something along the lines of "Substitute carrots with cucumbers for a more refreshing drink," the book has an entirely new page of the exact same recipe but with the carrots swapped for cucumbers and a new name for it. There's only a handful of recipes like this but it had alerted me enough to comment about it.

I'm so glad I purchased this book! I have to be honest in saying that I haven't yet made even one juice from it, but I will be very soon, because I've been building up more and more healthy foods and drinks into my diet and need a serious detox but don't necessary want to do a hard cleanse. I want to enjoy my journey to health and well-being. I love that this book has so much variety in recipes and provides input into what they be used for. My kids actually enjoy juicing, especially because they love the machine itself, but they love being involved in things as a family...go figure. lol I will be sure to share my experience and results as soon as I dig into this encyclopedia of juices. I really enjoy this book. I love the fact that it really goes into detail with each recipe letting you know what it’s highest in by using a 5 star rating for each category whether it’s detox, immunity, digestion, and skin. I also love the fact that it divides the juice and smoothie recipes by fruit and vegetable based. I went thru and tagged each recipe that sounded most appealing to me and which ones were high in each category, specifically digestion as it’s something I’ve struggled with my whole life. I did feel as some of the recipes were a little repetitive but overall, excellent book for anyone who is a beginner at juicing or experienced and just want to try different recipes.
